Tatiana: ‘Spider Web’

April 18, 2011 by popseeker

According to Wikipedia, this is Tatiana Okupnik. She is Polish and has sold rather a lot of albums in Poland. And now she’s coming to the UK.

She has a song out called ‘Spider Web’ and it’s quite good. For some reason it has been playlisted all over the world exclusively on LGBT radio stations, but we don’t really know why as it’s pretty universally appealling. EDIT: We’ve just found out why. She used to be part of a band that represented Poland in Eurovision. Also 7th Heaven have done an incredible G-A-Y esque remix.

Anyway, ‘Spider Web’ is a cute little pop-ballard ditty which was written by the singer herself and produced by Tim Hutton (who produced the fantastic ‘Song 4 Mutya’ by Groove Armada and Mutya Buena). It’s out to download on iTunes RIGHT NOW and the album of the same name is out in May.
