Willow Smith: ’21st Century Girl’

I suppose it was always going to be hard to follow up the total uniqueness that was ‘Whip My Hair’ with anything half as good, and whilst young Willow Smith has had a pretty good stab at it, ’21st Century Girl’ doesn’t really contribute anything to the already saturated pop music industry that will revolutionise it.

It sounds very Rihanna (if Rihanna was a 10 year old girl) but without the slick StarGate-esque production that her latest couple of singles have benefited from. It’s not bad by any sense, but it’s not going to be finding its way onto our most listened tracks on Spotify:
