Talay Riley ft. Wretch 32: ‘Sergeant Smash’

Sony are finally beginning to put a bit more attention into the incredibleness that is Talay Riley; promotion for his next single has been stepped up and the original edit which was due to be released as the main single (and which we loved then) is now being sidelined for an EVEN BETTER remixed version featuring urban artist Wretch 32 (who we’re currently loving due to the amazingness that is ‘Traktor’).

He’s been singed up to Jive Records (yep, the same people that Britney’s hooked up with) and his new single ‘Sergeant Smash’ has now been A Listed at 1Xtra, and has received critical acclaim from NME, The Times, MTV, NOTW etc ahead of its release on February 13.

It’s a refreshingly NEW sound that still manages to fit in perfectly with contemporary urban, R&B music and we simply can’t get enough of it.

His debut album will be released in 2011 and he is currently working in the studio in the UK and LA with a host of producers including Inflo 1st (One Republic), Harmony aka H-Money (a member of Darkchild Productions in LA responsible for Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ amongst others) and Rodney Jerkins.
