We’ve been here before, with a rumoured demo of Britney’s new song, but evidence suggests this might actually be real.
Dr Luke (the confirmed producer of the real song) has already tweeted some of the lyrics:
Hey Over There
24th Word: Song
and that corresponds with this demo…
As GimmeBritney.com points out:
“…the iTunes information for the track features the writers “Dr. Luke / Max Martin / Bonnie Mckee”. Bonnie McKee, of course, has worked with Dr Luke and Max in the past, co-writing California Gurls, Teenage Dream, and a stack of Rihanna tracks. She also attended the Texas ‘Writing Camp’ in late 2010 which featured dozens of writers working on various tracks for Britney’s 7th album.”
What’s probable is that this is the first draft, so to speak, and having been reworked by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, the finished version with Britney’s vocals will sound INCREDIBLE.
UPDATE 06/01/2011 20:00: This snippet has just leaked which is apparently the “mastered” (ie. final version) of the demo – so it’s still not Britney, but it’s what the production should sound a bit more like:
UPDATE 11/1/2011: The full HQ Britney version has now premiered! Read more here…
