Her Majesty & The Wolves: ‘Stars In Your Eyes’

You may remember the news earlier this year about Kimberley Wyatt (previously one of Nicole Scherzinger’s back up dancers in the Pussycat Dolls) forming a new group with Jupiter Rising member Spencer Nezey called Her Majesty & The Wolves. The first track, ‘Glaciers’ was pretty decent as a dance track, and the follow up, ‘Stars In Your Eyes’, isn’t too bad either.

If you’re a Pussycat Dolls fan, it might not be what you’re expecting. Trancey beats and a slick production result in a club track somewhere between Calvin Harris’ ‘Girls’ and Mark Ronson’s ‘Bang Bang Bang’, which may not be as instantly loveable as PCD hits like ‘When I Grow Up’ or ‘Buttons’ but which deserve respect nonetheless.

It’s released in the UK January 3rd, 2011, and the album should follow later on in the year.
