Bruno Mars, while undeniably one of the breakthrough talents of 2010, is getting a little overplayed with his ‘Just The Way You Are’ to be honest. His follow up single ‘Grenade’ well and truly dispels the criticism that his music is all just lovey-dovey, soppy love songs, and cements his position in the music industry as an up and coming artist to be reckoned with.
Granted, ‘Grenade’ is still a highly emotional song, but from the other side of the story from ‘Just The Way You Are’, it presents the emotional heartbreak side of relationships. Easily one of the highlights from his latest album ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’, the song is set to be released in the UK January 10th, and will be followed by the album on January 24th (pre-order on iTunes here).
