Keri Hilson: ‘Breaking Point’

‘Breaking Point’ is the first single from Keri Hilson’s upcoming second studio album.  With production under the control of Timbaland and lyrics written by Keri, you’d think we were looking at a hit single.  The reality is much more average though.  Alright, it’s different from the rest of the electropop chart stuff out there, it does have a slick vintage sound, but it’s no ‘Knock You Down’ put it that way.

I think she’s going for the female empowerment anthem sound, but it’s just a bit too boring to be belted out by recently single ladies who’ve  just been dumped/cheated on.

Which is a shame because Keri Hilson normally produces great stuff; her music with Britney is incredible!
