Sean Kingston ft. Nicki Minaj: ‘Letting Go (Dutty Love)’

Sean Kingston and Nicki Minaj are both marmite artists, love ’em or hate ’em. Putting them together therefore, you would’ve thought would be an absolute trainwreck. However, the actual result is something altogether rather brilliant.

‘Letting Go (Dutty Love)’ is the first single from Kingston’s as of yet untitled third studio album, and was produced by Norwegian group Stargate and written by hit songwriter Ester Dean.

It’s a fantastic mix of reggae, carribbean synthesized beats and western dance music, and with lyrics about letting go and having no worries, you’re going to want to do just that. Even Minaj’s usually quite poignantly harsh vocals contrast really well with the laid back vibe of the track and the finished result is something we’re quite looking forward to hearing more of. It’s a truly fantastic summer song and should be added to all of those summer playlists right away.

It’s out to download in the US right now, but unfortunately there’s no word yet on any UK/worldwide release date. Follow @popseeker on twitter or like us on Facebook to get the latest news!
