1. Top hitmaker/producer DarkChild has confirmed he is in talks with Britney’s management and it creating new music for the Pop Princess.  Britney is also reportedly working with Akon for her 7th studio album, slated for an Autumn release.

2. National Embarassment Katie Price has announced she is release a dance single called ‘Free To Love Again’.  A clip has been released (see here) and it’s absolutely awful.  Think Heidi Montag vs. Jedward

3. Katy Perry has gone straight to #1 in the UK singles chart with ‘California Gurls‘ and Eminem has topped the album chart with ‘Recovery’

4. Lady GaGa premiered a brand new song ‘You & I‘ at Elton John’s ball in Windsor.

5. Kanye West will release 5th studio album ‘Good Ass Job’ on September 14th.

6. Rumours spread yesterday that Fergie is leaving the Black Eyed Peas due to a rift with will.i.am.  He later dismissed them saying on twitter “Don’t belive gossip about fergie leaving the group (we are never breaking up) its all lies!!! (sic)”

7. Shakira has annouced her European tour dates and is playing 5 dates in the UK and Ireland.  Tickets for the Shakira concert on Monday 20th December 2010 at London’s O2 Arena will go on sale at 9AM Friday 2nd of July. Tickets are £40-50 and will be available via Live Nation:
