JLS feat. Rihanna in the works

Rihanna has confirmed to British tabloid (trash) The Sun that she is set to collaborate with latest chart obsession JLS ‘by the end of the year’.

The boys were recently signed up to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label (which, by the way, has allegedly dropped the Sugababes after the poor performance of their latest album Sweet 7.  Shame).  She said:

“Working with JLS is something that will happen this year. Jay will make stars out of them. He has been a great mentor to me…they can sing, they can dance, they look good, actually they look very good…America has only had a little taste of them so far, but give it probably as little as 18 months and they could be the most famous band in the world. There is nothing Jay doesn’t know about the music business”

Rihanna apparently claimed that they could be ‘the biggest band on the planet’.  To be honest, I doubt that very much.  Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against JLS but the age of the boyband is over, no?  Anyway, we’ll just have to wait and see.  Let’s just hope poor Rhi doesn’t get ‘Beat Again’…  Sorry.

  1. Rihanna is on tour untill late this year so i would think at the begining of next year if it happens.

  2. Chris says:

Very true. The report is probably just tabloid sensationalism over actual truth to be honest.

  3. […] Maybe they’re working on that collaboration with Rihanna? […]
