This year’s MTV Video Music Awards which were held on the 28th August in Los Angeles, and aired in the UK on MTV last night, scored the network its highest ratings since MTV started measuring viewership in 1993. 12.4 million people in the US tuned in to MTV on Sunday night to watch a tribute to Britney, GaGa dressed as a man and Beyonce announce her pregnancy, amongst other highlights.
